Students in grades 4-6 are encouraged to run for

student body office. These students learn the

fundamentals of representative democracy through involvement in student government. The students elect the following officers: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, historian, grounds commissioner, athletic commissioner, rally commissioner, and safety commissioner. Each class in grades four through six elects two representatives to serve as council members. The Student Council takes an active role in sponsoring and planning various student activities, enhancing communication between the students and staff, and conducting fund-raising activities for the benefit of the students.
