Each semester in the academic year, the Liberty student body, grades 4th-6th, elect one student per grade level to the office of Student Relations. These students particpate in student leadership meetings and activities. These students bring diversity issues to the council to discuss and address areas of concern. These students also work with various student committees like the Kindness Committee and Liberty's Multicultural Advisory Committee Kids Interested in Diversity (MAC KIDs).
The Kindness Committee is dedicated to promoting
acts of kindness and teaching empathy to the students at Liberty Elementary. We
initiate events during the school year to encourage our students to “Start with
Kindness.” We truly believe that the early practice of kindness and empathy
makes a lifelong imprint on the life of each student and on our
Liberty community.
